Antenatal Care
Complete antenatal care at a time and place to suit you.
Visits every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, visits every 2 weeks until 36 weeks then weekly visits until your birth.
During these appointments I will offer blood pressure and urine monitoring, well being, growth and position assessments of your baby and ensure there is always plenty of time to discuss any pregnancy related questions or concerns you may have, so that you feel prepared and ready to enter your birth space and meet your new baby.
One off antenatal appointments may be booked if you are receiving care elsewhere but perhaps want an extra appointment to discuss something specific or for reassurance. These are charged at £150 per session.

Birth Care
During your labour and birth you will receive the love, care and guidance you and your partner and family need.
You will usually be supported by 2 midwives and we will endeavour to ensure you have met the second midwife who will be present, before you go into labour. We will stay with you until after your baby is born and you are settled and ready for a rest.
The fee for the 2nd midwife and for your birth insurance is included in the price.

Postnatal Care
After your birth you are offered visits on day 1, 3, 5 and 7 during the the first week, 2 visits in the second week and 1 visit in the third and fourth week. This allows you to feel supported and ensures you are always able to ask the often many questions that arise as you get to know your new baby.
I can support and guide you with feeding your new baby and ensure you are also recovering well.
Weekly weighing of your baby as well as the new born blood spot screening are offered.
One off postnatal appointments may be booked if you need extra support. Perhaps you need some feeding support or are feeling overwhelmed with questions and you would like time to have these answered. These are charged at £150 per session.
